Three of my dioramas are in the Artist Books Exhibit at Illahe Studios and Gallery in Ashland, OR through April 2011. Each “page” is a self-portrait that transcends the personal story through its archetypal imagery.

Art and Science: Part 1

"Ode to the Eurkaryote" depicts an imaginary paradise (para + deisos in ancient Persian, meaning "enclosed garden") inhabited by fish and lizards and birds. “Paradise” also came to mean a place of supreme beauty.
